Discover this scenic, less travelled region of Italy. Cycling begins in the rolling hills in Umbria where we’ll visit the medieval and charming towns of Assisi, Spello and Todi. Then, heading toward the southern mountain chain in the Abruzzo region, we climb the challenging Terminillo Pass, a legend of the Giro d’Italia. You will spend four days cycling through the undiscovered beauties of the Gran Sasso National Park, including a visit to the village of Santo Stefano. Time magazine described it as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. You will even roll down to the east coast to admire the sandy beaches of the Adriatic Sea. A final stop before leaving Italy is a delightful visit to Rome.
